The life of a parish includes much more than Sunday worship.  We have a life together growing, learning, reaching out and caring for one another.  We celebrate the presence of God in, with and for us – whether urging us forward in our journey or to be still.  A portion of our life together is about rejoicing in blessings given to us and celebrating our life together.  Joy is essential to healthy community life.

From time to time, we have Wednesday potluck meals together.  Other traditions include a community soup supper during the Muscatine Holiday Stroll and a Shrove Tuesday community pancake supper on the evening before Lent begins. We enjoy bags, game nights, knitting, going out for meals, and watching movies as well.

We also enjoy each others’ company during music events (lately, it’s Arden Creek) in the area, game nights, Halloween trunk-or-treating, community dinners and whatever else you are willing to suggest.
